Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 leaves sage
  • 200 milliliters passata
  • 400 grams cooked cannelleni beans (can also use toscanelli beans and borlotti beans)
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

  1. Garlic

    Crush or grate

  2. Sage

    Wash and dry

  3. Cook
  4. Aromatics

    Place a pot on the stove on cold heat

    Add garlic, sage and black pepper

    Turn heat to low and let the aromatics infuse the oil, stirring occasionally

    Cook until fragrant (about 5 minutes)

  5. Tomato

    Add passata and salt to taste

    Raise heat to medium-low

    Simmer until the sauce has noticeably thickened (about 15 minutes)

  6. Beans

    Add beans and stir until warmed through (about 3 minutes)

    Taste for seasoning

    Serve
